‘Help Me!’ Basket One

How do you commission a pipe?  Before you explore, be sure to read For “Pipe Dreamers” Only!

#B1217 Medico Imported Briar F (Filter) Pear

COMMISSIONED #B1168 Savinelli Dry System 362 Rusticated – This attractive Italian Savinelli is a ‘Peterson-like’ style including a P-Lip stem.  I acquired this Savinelli Dry System as well as the next one, #167 –  both are unique.  The other Savinelli is clearly marked 3621.  This one all that is clear is 362 – the rustication could have masked the last number – clarified hopefully with the research!

#B1167 Savinelli Dry System 3621 Blasted – I acquired both this Savinelli Dry System and the other, #168.  Both are unique Savinelli offerings.  The difference in this one from the straight 362 shape number is that this Savinelli has a blasted finish, the former is rusticated.

#B1165 Echt Lacroix S.A. Erikson 185 Flame Grain Billiard – The grain on this classic Billiard is a distinct vertical flame grain.

#B1164 Bruyere Garantee Horn Stem Billiard – This pipe has a nice look with the gold plated band and the horn stem.  I found this pipe at an antique shop along with 8 others at Burgas, Bulgaria.

#B1163 Dr. Geo Deposee Blasted Prince

#B1162 Wilshire Three Dot 12 Blasted Billiard

#B1144 Lincoln London Made Real Sandblasted Briar Billiard – I found this pipe in the coastal Bulgarian city of Burgas, on the Black Sea.

#B1159 Utor Bruyere Rusticated Dublin – I’m guessing this Dublin is French made.  The brush rustication is attractive and shows some probable age with the P-Lip stem. I found this Dublin at an antique shop on the Black Sea coast city of Burgas, Bulgaria.

COMMISSIONED #B1158 Altinay Block Meerschaum Half Bent Lattice – This sculpted Meer is an exquisite example of Turkish pipe art form.  This pipe has been well loved and the desired patina is already evident in the aged Meerschaum. The original case is included.  I found this pipe while pipe picking at an antique shop on the Black Sea coast city of Burgas, Bulgaria.

#B1156 Edelweiss Bruyere Extra Sculpted Diamond Shank Horn Stem – A beautifully sculpted French made (I’m guessing) pipe with a diamond shank and a horn stem completes the ensemble very nicely.

#B1152 Lorenzo Carnevale Sanremo Italy Rusticated Squat Apple – I’ve grown in my appreciation for the Italian Lorenzo pipes which seem to have a particular flair.  The transitioning acrylic stem is a eye catching example of this.  I found this pipe in Athens, Greece.

Thanks for your interest Jay. If you notice, the smooth Peterson System Standard Republic of Ireland 312: Length: 6 5/8 inches, listed above has already been commissioned and is not available. There was another, 312 listed, a rusticated finish, which I just removed because it’s already gone – sorry for the site not being updated! Let me know if you see anything else here or in the Store. Thanks!
